Katy Lindsay
Katy Lindsay is the founder and CEO of Aptimore.
Katy is an expert in assessing senior executive talent and potential. She has extensive experience of assessing, developing and training people to become effective managers and leaders, and has worked with clients across all industry sectors and in many countries.
Her earlier career focused on strategy and finance. As an investment banker with NM Rothschild & Sons, she was based in Chile, Australia and the U.K. Prior to that, she was a financial analyst with J Sainsbury plc in the corporate planning and business development team. Katy began her professional career as a strategy consultant with Bain & Company, working in the U.K., Canada and the U.S.
In 2001, Katy’s focus switched to business psychology. She qualified in psychometric testing with the British Psychological Society and became a certified executive coach. Since then, her work has centred on assessment, development and training. At Burlington Consultants, she developed and led the management assessment service before founding her own company, Cardinal, which specialized in assessment, development and management due diligence. She then worked as a consultant for leading global headhunter Spencer Stuart, specialising in assessment of executives, managers and leaders throughout the EMEA region. As well as working with individuals at all levels of seniority, Katy has extensive experience of assessing whole teams. Her clients have ranged from small and medium sized enterprises backed by private-equity investors to large global companies.
Katy holds a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University and is a member of the Association for Business Psychology.
